Africa Aerospace and Defence | Sunday
25 years - still gives you chills
Jets scream overhead. Helicopters hover close enough to feel the downdraft. Parachutists drop from altitude while tanks roll across the mobility track below. This is AAD 2026 - and there is nothing else like it on the continent.
Walk among some of the most advanced aircraft and defence technology in Africa. Get close. Get loud. Get the photos you'll never stop showing people.
Bring the young ones along, the Youth Pavilion is packed with flight simulators, model building, target shooting, first aid and hands-on activities designed to light a spark in the next generation.

Africa Aerospace and Defence
The Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) is Africa's only aerospace and defence expo that combines both a trade exhibition and an air show.
Held biennially in the City of Tshwane – South Africa’s administrative capital, the AAD Expo is one of South Africa’s largest contributors to the country’s GDP in show years, and is regarded as a national asset.
