Back for its 13th year, the Gagasi FM Beach Fest has become KZN’s biggest summer kick-off party, held on the first weekend of December
Each year, the first weekend of December signals the start of the festive season in KwaZulu-Natal, and the Gagasi FM Beach Festival has become the ultimate summer kick-off event. Known for its sold-out success, the festival has grown into a powerful celebration of music, culture, and community, cementing its place as one of South Africa’s premier live music experiences.
The 13th Annual Gagasi FM Beach Festival will once again feature the hottest South African artists across genres including Amapiano, Gqom, Maskandi, Gospel, and Hip-Hop performing on Durban’s biggest live stage.
Age Restriction: Ages 18+
Phase 1 General Access: R350pp (From 4 September - 4 October)
Phase 2 General Access: R400pp (From 5 October - 4 December ). No tickets will be sold at the door
VIP Access: R1000pp (Includes light lunch, light dinner, and unreserved cocktail seating first come first serve)
(Maximum 35L Coolerbox per person with decanted drinks)
- 10am - 12pm: Coolerbox Allowed for free with cooler box
- 12pm - 4pm: R200 per cooler box
- 4pm - 7pm: R350 per cooler box
- After 7pm: No cooler boxes allowed

On 13 March 2006 Gagasi FM went on air for the first time with just over 500 000 listeners. Today, 20 years later, Gagasi FM is still the leading commercial regional station in South Africa with over 1,4 million listeners across KZN. Our radio station has a strong local identity and is the only bilingual commercial radio station in KwaZulu Natal, broadcasting in both English and isiZulu.
